Water switch on/off

Each year, the water supply to allotments is turned off around November before the first frost to stop pipes from freezing. It’s turned back on in March after the final frost.
During this time, you won’t have access to mains water, so plan ahead.

Saving water

Please use water carefully and follow the allotment rules:

  • no sprinklers or unattended hosepipes
  • follow any hosepipe bans if they’re in place
