Get growing

Plots are inspected regularly. Your first inspection will be about 3 months after you start.

Here’s what allotment officers look for:

• your plot number clearly marked
• weeds and grass under control
• at least 60% of your plot being used for growing (includes fruit trees and bushes)
• no brambles or overgrown grass
• no unnecessary waste or clutter
• a safe and tidy plot
